BOOKS FOR BOYS

cover of R LeeSome time back, the president and publisher of a major trade publishing house and a group of its children’s executives went on a cross-country fact-finding mission about that what key independent book sellers said they most needed.

The president was quoted in Publisher’s Weekly trade magazine: “Areas they told us that were under-published are boy’s books – there are just not enough of them.”

cover of Robert E LeeI write books for both boys and girls, but parents, teachers and librarians have often told me that my books are very popular with boys. Even reluctant and non-reading boys have become avid readers after trying one of my wholesome, high excitement novels.

If you’re a parent, teacher, librarian or book store manager, I invite you to consider some of my books for boys. Fifteen chapter books are listed elsewhere on this website, and another ten novels popular with boys are soon to be released. I have written 40 titles in four series, so if a reader reads one, there are plenty of other titles left.

So go ahead: read one of my books for boys and let me know your reaction.
